Single-shot digital holography with no or less prominent twin-images based on random phase modulation
Takanori Nomura

Abstract

Digital holography is one of the typical applications of computational optical sensing and imaging. Digital holography gives complex amplitude distribution of an object wave numerically. Therefore, lots of information of the object will be revealed quantitatively. In our group, single-exposure digital holography which can enable to remove or reduce twin images from the single hologram has been proposed. In this review, single-shot phase-shifting digital holography using a random-complex-amplitude encoded reference wave, random phase modulation digital Gabor holography, and single-shot digital holography with Fresnel domain filtering using a designed mask wave are introduced. © Anita Publications.
